When Dias went around the southern point of Africa in 1488 he encountered such a ferocious storm that he named the area " The Cape of Storms". This name is still very true today. Cape storms with massive waves hitting the cliffs are not an uncommon phenomena.

Mossel Bay was the first harbour for ships going around the southern point of Africa en route to the East.

It's impossible to capture the beauty of Cape Town in words or photos. It can only give a glimpse of the magic.
